Counter Assault Team
Gemini Global Defense members of the Counter AssauIt Team(CAT) are skilled Close Protection Officers that are further trained in Advanced VIP-Counter Assault Level. Specially trained to engage an attack whilst on foot, structure and in motorcade. This is in contrast to the Close Protection Team whose mission is to shield the VIP from an attack and to evacuate the VIP to a place of safety. In the event a VIP, the VIP’s vehicle or a protected site is attacked by multiple assailants, CAT is responsible for engaging and overcoming, diverting the attackers thereby enabling the close protection team time to evacuate the VIP to a safe area.

Gemini also provides offsite surveilance services alongside the installation. Which provides 24/7 protection, it will be a deterant to onsite crimes and provides the ability for early detection of crime. Our Control room teams are highly skilled and will advise the security personel on the ground of how to react to the threat and give them an inditcation of the type of threat they are dealing with. Our centre will also dispatch the armed response team and alert authorities about the crime that has taken place. Offsite monitoring is a great low cost security alternative.
